My name is Aimee Edwards, I'm a journalist, writer and unapologetic sports obsessive.

Over the last few years I’ve had a front-row seat to how the industry really works. I’ve interviewed CMOs, rights holders, streaming executives, sponsorship leads and creative minds who shape how sport is funded, broadcast, promoted and experienced.

And somewhere between the press boxes, strategy meetings, late-night transcripts and broadcast rights breakdowns, I realised that the most interesting part of sport isn’t always the game, it’s the deals behind it that keeps the teams lights on.
